Eligibility
Built for qualifying dry vans and reefers
Coverage follows your service contract for trailer type, age, and any selected surcharges. Starting age limits differ for dry van (DVT) and reefer van (RVT); aggregate protection is capped at $15,000 or actual cash value (ACV), whichever applies per your agreement.
- Dry van (DVT) — up to 10 years from the current date at enrollment (per contract)
- Reefer van (RVT) — up to 7 years (includes base trailer coverage plus reefer unit components)
- Use any licensed repair facility in the US or Canada
- Optional add-on coverage for extra axles and hydraulic systems when purchased at sale

Air brakes & ABS
Coupling head, trailer brake valves, brake chambers, release/pressure valves and slack adjusters, ABS sensors and cables, ABS control modules, air chambers and air pressure lines.
Trailer suspension
Leaf springs, air springs, torsion axle, axle shafts, equalizers, wheel bearings, hub assemblies, anti-dock walk devices, tire inflation valves, control box, flow sensing switch, manifold controller, pressure sensors, leveling and dump valves.
Frame
Landing gear assemblies, manual and electronic slider system, slider pins, torque arm and bushing.
Trailer body components
Door/ramp springs, door/ramp/gate hinges, door ramp locks.
Electrical
7-way plug assemblies, complete wiring harness, wiring repair, connectors, and switches.
Seals & gaskets
All seals and gaskets for all listed components.
Reefer van (RVT) builds on dry van coverage
Includes all components listed in dry van (DVT) coverage, plus the reefer unit coverage described below.
Reefer engine (internal parts)
All internal lubricated parts within the engine including camshaft, cam followers, camshaft bearings, connecting rods, connecting rod bearings, crankshaft, crankshaft bearings, exhaust valves, intake valves, lifters, main bearings, oil pump, pump gears, pump housing, pump pickup screen, pump pickup tube, and valves; pistons, piston rings, rocker arms, rocker arm shafts, timing gears, valve guides, valve retainers, valve springs, wrist pins.
Refrigeration & support components
AC compressor, expansion valves, temperature and pressure sensors, condenser, valve solenoids, temperature controller, ECU, radiator, fuel pumps, injectors, starter, alternator, and water pump.
Optional surcharge coverage is available when designated on the registration page and surcharge amount(s) have been paid at the time of sale. When selected, coverage runs for the entire term of the contract and includes:
Axle surcharge
Base plan includes two axles; surcharge applies for each additional axle.
Hydraulic system components
Hydraulic pump motor, pressure lines, solenoids, couplers, winches, winch controller, equalizers, hydraulic arms, power combiners, hydraulic valves, hydraulic system controller, hydraulic fittings.
Aggregate limit reminder
Trailer coverage provides an aggregate of $15,000 or the actual cash value (ACV) of the trailer, as defined in your service contract. Review sample terms for deductibles, claim procedures, and any surcharges you selected at enrollment.
